About The Role This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Video Editor & Motion Designer to join Zillow’s Brand Story & Creative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping Zillow’s visual storytelling by creating compelling motion graphics and editing engaging video content. Your work will support a variety of initiatives including brand campaigns, internal communications, product storytelling, and social media content. You will collaborate closely with writers, designers, producers, and other stakeholders to translate creative briefs into high-quality deliverables. Additionally, you will participate in pre-production planning, shot-list development, and on-set support when necessary. This position offers a chance to grow your skills within a dynamic, fast-paced environment while contributing to the visual identity of a leading brand in the real estate industry.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in video editing and motion design within an agency, in-house creative team, or production environment
• Strong portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, animation, video editing, and storytelling skills
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Experience with motion systems, typography animation, and brand-driven design
• Understanding of video production processes from pre-production through post-production
• High attention to detail and strong visual judgment
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Design, Animation, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
• Experience supporting on-set production and familiarity with scalable brand or motion systems (a plus)
• Interest in emerging storytelling formats and innovative visual techniques (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Create and execute motion graphics, animations, and branded visual systems across various content types including campaigns, social media, internal communications, and events
• Edit video content with strong pacing, narrative clarity, and brand consistency to produce polished, engaging stories
• Translate creative briefs and art direction into high-quality deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Manage versioning, localization, and final asset delivery while adhering to technical specifications and quality standards
• Support pre-production activities such as visual planning and shot-list development
• Provide on-set production support as needed to ensure quality and efficiency
• Maintain and apply Zillow’s visual guidelines consistently across all motion and video outputs
• Improve and scale motion templates, graphic systems, and post-production workflows to enhance efficiency
• Effectively manage multiple projects, timelines, and revisions, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders
