Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) New Mexico Schools | 20262027 School Year Position Title: Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Remote / Virtual Serving K12 Students Across New Mexico School Year: 20262027 Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, and Contract Opportunities Available Make an Impact From Anywhere We are seeking dedicated and passionate Virtual Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide high-quality teletherapy services to students throughout New Mexico for the 20262027 school year. This is an opportunity to help students reach their communication goals while enjoying the flexibility of working remotely. As a Virtual SLP, you will collaborate with educators, families, and special education teams to deliver individualized speech and language services that support student success in the classroom and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual speech-language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct teletherapy services to students in grades K12
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
- Utilize teletherapy platforms and digital resources effectively
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active New Mexico SLP license (or ability to obtain)
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable providing services through virtual platforms
- Knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, and special education regulations
