Key Responsibilities

As a Pre-Licensed Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will serve as the eyes and ears of our customer service operation, fielding inquiries, resolving complex issues, and delivering exceptional experiences. This position requires excellent decision-making skills, innovation, and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment. You will handle high-level consumer issues while strictly adhering to company policies and departmental guidelines.

Core Duties Include:

  • Resolving Complex Consumer Issues: Address escalated, high-level customer concerns that require advanced problem-solving and judgment. Provide guidance and support to first-level representatives handling difficult cases.
  • Billing Inquiries and Support: Assist policyholders with questions about their bills, payment processing, account balances, and billing discrepancies. Ensure accurate and timely resolution of all financial inquiries.
  • Policy Changes and Adjustments: Process customer requests for modifications to their insurance policies, including coverage adjustments, beneficiary updates, and other changes as needed.
  • Personalized Recommendations: Support policyholder needs by providing thoughtful recommendations for coverage adjustments, additional protections, or service upgrades that align with their unique circumstances.
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for policyholders, ensuring their concerns are heard, understood, and resolved with empathy and professionalism.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, policy changes, and resolutions in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Essential Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer Service Experience: A minimum of 6 months of customer service experience in any industry.
  • Age Requirement: Must be over 18 years of age.
  • Typing Speed: Ability to type at least 25 words per minute.
  • Education: High School Graduate or equivalent GED.
  • Technical Comfort: Comfortable using desktop computer systems and navigating multiple software applications simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, professionally, and empathetically.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong logical problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills.
  • Scheduling Flexibility: Availability to work various shifts, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Operating System Proficiency: Ability to use Windows operating systems confidently.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organization and work prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 months of prior Call Center experience is highly preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in insurance, financial services, or related fields is a plus.
