Remote Part-Time Data Entry Specialist – E-Commerce Marketplace Operations at arenaflex

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2026-06-12

About arenaflex and the Opportunity

arenaflex is a forward-thinking, fully remote organization that partners with leading global e-commerce platforms to power the infrastructure behind millions of online transactions every single day. As the digital marketplace ecosystem continues to expand at an unprecedented pace, the accuracy and integrity of product data have become the lifeblood of online retail. Every product title, every bullet point, every price, and every image description is a critical touchpoint between a brand and a customer, and it is the data entry specialists at arenaflex who ensure that touchpoint is flawless.

We are urgently expanding our remote workforce to support growing operational demands, and we are actively hiring motivated, detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Part-Time Remote Data Entry Specialists. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals who thrive in independent work environments, take pride in precision, and want to build a meaningful career in the e-commerce industry without sacrificing flexibility. Whether you are a stay-at-home parent, a student, a freelancer, or simply someone looking for a reliable part-time income stream, arenaflex offers a welcoming and professional environment where your contributions truly matter.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with managing and maintaining high-quality product data across our partner e-commerce platforms, primarily within the Seller Central ecosystem. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Product Data Entry and Management: Accurately input and update comprehensive product information, including titles, descriptions, images, pricing, dimensions, and other key attributes, into the arenaflex content management system and partner platforms such as Amazon Seller Central.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that every product listing fully complies with platform-specific guidelines, style guides, and regulatory standards. Conduct thorough quality checks on all data entered to verify accuracy, consistency, and completeness before publication.
  • Inventory Monitoring: Regularly monitor stock levels and update inventory quantities in real time. Proactively identify discrepancies and coordinate with relevant team members to resolve issues quickly and prevent customer-facing errors.
  • Listing Optimization Support: Collaborate with the broader operations team to refresh and optimize existing product listings. This may include rewriting product titles, refining descriptions, and ensuring that images meet technical and aesthetic standards.
  • Policy Awareness and Compliance: Stay up to date with the latest platform policies, algorithm changes, and best practices related to e-commerce product listings. Apply this knowledge to ensure all entries and updates are fully compliant with current standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with team leads, account managers, and other data entry professionals to resolve data discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve workflow processes.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain organized records of completed tasks, document recurring issues, and provide feedback to supervisors regarding opportunities for process improvement.
  • Time Management and Responsiveness: Manage your workload independently while remaining responsive during peak periods, promotional events, or urgent operational needs that may require short-term increases in working hours.

Essential Qualifications

To thrive in this role at arenaflex, candidates must meet the following core requirements:

  • Proven Data Entry Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in data entry, with strong typing speed (ideally 50+ words per minute) and a near-zero error rate. Prior experience working with spreadsheets, databases, or content management systems is essential.
  • Exceptional Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for detail is non-negotiable. The ability to spot inconsistencies, typos, and formatting errors in product data is critical to success in this position.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required. You will need to coordinate with team members via email, chat, and occasional video calls.
  • Self-Discipline and Independence: The ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and remain productive without direct supervision is essential in a remote environment.
  • Reliable Technology Setup: A reliable high-speed internet connection, a functional computer or laptop, and a quiet, distraction-free home workspace are required. arenaflex does not provide equipment, but our team is available to help you set up the necessary software and tools.
  • Flexible Availability: Willingness to work part-time hours, typically between 15 and 25 hours per week, with flexibility to scale up during peak seasons, major sales events, or urgent project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

While not strictly required, the following qualifications will give candidates a competitive edge:

  • Prior experience with Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, or other major e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, eBay, or Walmart Marketplace.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and how optimized product listings drive search visibility and conversions.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSV file formatting, or other data-handling tools.
  • Experience working remotely or within a distributed team.
  • Exposure to inventory management systems, ERP software, or product information management (PIM) platforms.

Skills and Competencies for Success

At arenaflex, we believe that technical skills can be taught, but character and work ethic cannot. The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Accuracy Over Speed: While efficiency is valued, accuracy always comes first. You understand that a single data entry error can have downstream consequences for customers and sellers alike.
  • Adaptability: The e-commerce industry evolves rapidly, and so do the tools and platforms we use. You are comfortable learning new systems and adjusting to change.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: When you encounter a data discrepancy or an unclear listing, you take initiative to research and resolve the issue rather than waiting for direction.
  • Time Management: You can prioritize tasks effectively, meet deadlines consistently, and balance multiple ongoing projects without sacrificing quality.
  • Professional Integrity: You handle sensitive pricing, inventory, and product data with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Performance-Based Incentives: High-performing team members are eligible for bonuses and other performance-based rewards.

  • Skill Development: Gain hands-on experience with one of the most in-demand skill sets in today’s digital economy — e-commerce data management.
  • Supportive Team Culture: Join a community of remote professionals who are passionate about what they do and eager to help each other succeed.
