Why This Role Matters

Eligibility analysts are the backbone of arenaflex’s member services. They ensure that every enrollment, benefit change, and eligibility inquiry is processed accurately, securely, and in compliance with federal regulations such as HIPAA. In this role, you will become a trusted liaison between members, providers, and internal teams, translating complex policy language into clear, actionable outcomes. Your work will help maintain the integrity of arenaflex’s data, support seamless benefit delivery, and ultimately improve the experience for every member who relies on arenaflex’s services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor eligibility data sets, ensuring the smooth flow of eligibility information across multiple internal systems.

  • Respond to, investigate, and resolve eligibility and enrollment issues, collaborating directly with members, providers, and internal partners to achieve positive service outcomes.
  • Apply all relevant considerations related to regulatory requirements, administrative policies, plan design, and benefit limits when addressing eligibility matters.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between members, providers, and the IT department, translating business needs into functional specifications for system enhancements.

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to facilitate the delivery of eligibility, plan design, and benefit information.
  • Complete required uploads of plan and eligibility screens to activate system processing of plan benefits.
  • Code system screens, plans, and designs to support downstream processes and the creation and delivery of member and plan support items.
  • Guarantee that all interactions with members, external vendors, and providers—including sensitive member data—comply with HIPAA privacy and security standards.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to interact courteously and effectively with both internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving ability with a track record of identifying issues and implementing improvements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities while maintaining high accuracy.
  • Capacity to handle high work volume and direct multiple work streams simultaneously.
  • Commitment to a hybrid schedule, with three days per week in a designated office location (Lansing, USA) and the remainder remote.

Preferred Qualifications
