Role Overview

This full‑time (or part‑time) remote position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $35 to $60, depending on experience and performance. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Product Owners, Data Engineers, and Quality Assurance specialists—to translate raw chat transcripts into structured, validated data sets that feed into arenaflex’s enterprise‑wide data lake and analytics pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture, validate, and enrich live chat transcripts in real time, ensuring adherence to data‑quality standards.
  • Collaborate with utility teams to understand business requirements and translate them into precise data capture rules.
  • Design and maintain robust data models that support standardized metric definitions and reporting needs.
  • Utilize transformational technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to process large‑scale data batches and real‑time streams.
  • Develop and execute test cases to verify data accuracy across multiple use‑case scenarios, performing intensive validation and error‑handling.
  • Identify automation opportunities, creating scripts (Shell, PySpark, Python) to streamline repetitive data‑entry tasks and improve overall efficiency.
  • Partner with the Voice‑of‑Customer (VOC) team to prioritize, define, and monitor key performance indicators derived from chat interactions.
  • Provide timely feedback to product and engineering teams on data gaps, inconsistencies, and enhancement opportunities.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data entry procedures, validation rules, and system configurations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data entry, data quality assurance, or customer‑service roles with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
