[Remote] Investigative Research Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, LLP is seeking an Investigative Research Analyst to join their Investigative Services Department. The role involves supporting investigators through extensive research and analysis across various case-related topics, managing a large caseload, and collaborating with team members on high-priority requests.
Responsibilities
- Support a team of Investigators by conducting extensive research across multiple sources and tools
- Research companies and individuals for case development using various investigative mediums
- Conduct confidential background and due diligence investigations
- Manage a large caseload and attorney requests in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with team members to support high-priority requests and cases
- Assist with special projects as needed as an integral member of the Investigative Services Team

- Ability to quickly develop or demonstrate strong investigative research skills
- Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment with a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to develop deep knowledge of background and due diligence investigations
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks
- Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management skills with adaptability and flexibility
- Advanced computer, internet, and investigative research skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- Applicants must reside in one of the following states: Pennsylvania (PA), New Jersey (NJ), or Delaware (DE)
- Applicants must also be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S
- Experience with legal, public, private record, and company research tools preferred
- Prior experience as a Research Assistant, Analyst, Librarian, Paralegal, or similar role in a large law firm or office setting preferred but not required
