Financial Business Intelligence Analyst I
Osaic is a financial services company seeking a data-driven motivated individual to join their Finance Business Intelligence team. The role involves driving critical reporting, strategic direction, and evaluating firm-wide performance while collaborating with various corporate functions.
Responsibilities
- Build foundational subject matter expertise in financial and wealth management data under guidance and supervision
- Support strategic initiatives by producing analyses, reports, and dashboards
- Assist stakeholders in understanding business questions and contributing to analytical solutions
- Develop and maintain analytical code and queries using established standards
- Follow data quality, documentation, and control standards
- Present findings clearly with guidance and mentoring
Skills
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to learn
- Knowledge of data analytics software and tools (e.g. Python, R) and data querying languages (e.g. SQL, Snowflake)
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively
- Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant practical experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- Internship or entry-level experience in analytics, finance, or related fields
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, or BI tools such as Power BI
- Basic understanding of data governance concepts
