About the Role: Inbound Customer Support Specialist

As an Inbound Customer Support Specialist at arenaflex, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers reaching out via phone, email, and online chat channels. Whether you are helping a frustrated user reset a device, walking a client through a billing correction, or simply offering reassurance and clarity, you will be making a tangible impact on someone’s day.

This position is fully on-site at our Valdosta, Georgia facility and is best suited for individuals who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and supportive team environment. You will work alongside colleagues from diverse backgrounds who bring unique perspectives and shared commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a steady volume of inbound customer calls, emails, and chat inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and friendly resolutions to routine customer questions, product inquiries, and service-related concerns.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues, escalating more complex problems to specialized support teams as needed.
  • Process billing adjustments, account updates, and subscription changes with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Document every customer interaction thoroughly in our CRM platform to ensure seamless follow-up and continuous service improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience by offering relevant products, services, or process improvements.
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual performance metrics, including customer satisfaction scores, first-call resolution rates, and average handle time.
  • Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and coaching sessions to sharpen your skills and advance your professional growth.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture by supporting peers, sharing knowledge, and celebrating collective wins.

Essential Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of six months of prior customer service experience (in-person, phone-based, retail, hospitality, or related fields).
  • Must reside within a 40-mile radius of our Valdosta, Georgia site.
  • Strong PC literacy, including comfort navigating multiple software applications, web browsers, and internal systems simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain information clearly and patiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm, courteous, and solution-focused when handling challenging customer situations.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work a variety of shifts, which may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a call center, help desk, or technical support environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar tools.
