Your primary responsibility will be overseeing and helping manage multiple digital marketing projects, with a particular emphasis on Facebook Ads campaign strategy, setup, and optimization. You will also play a meaningful role in Google Ads management, customer support, graphic design, and general administrative coordination. The successful candidate will be based in the Philippines and will work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM London time (CST, UTC+8). We understand that time zone differences can be challenging, so we are happy to allow you to start a couple of hours early or finish a couple of hours later if that helps align better with your personal schedule. Once you are fully trained and we have established a foundation of trust, approximately 30% of your tasks can be completed at any time, giving you additional flexibility in how you structure your workday. We may use Hubstaff time tracking software to monitor productivity and performance during working hours, ensuring transparency and fairness for everyone on the team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Digital Marketing Virtual Assistant at arenaflex, your daily activities will span a variety of functions. Below is a detailed breakdown of what you can expect:

  • Facebook Ads Setup and Strategy (45% of role): You will take the lead on planning, building, launching, and managing Facebook ad campaigns for multiple clients. This includes audience research, ad copy creation, creative briefing, A/B testing, budget allocation, and ongoing performance optimization. You will work closely with our creative team to develop compelling ad assets and use data-driven insights to continuously improve campaign results.
  • Google Ads Setup and Optimization (10% of role): You will assist with managing Google AdWords and Shopping campaigns, including keyword research, bid management, ad copy creation, and conversion tracking. Google Ads certification is preferred but not required, as we are happy to provide training for the right candidate.
  • Customer Support and Client Communication (10% of role): You will respond to client queries through our Basecamp project management system, ensuring that all questions are addressed promptly and professionally. Your excellent written English will be essential in representing the arenaflex brand and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Graphic Design (10% of role): You will create visual assets for ad campaigns, social media posts, and other marketing materials using Canva or similar design platforms. A good eye for design and branding consistency is important.
  • General Administrative Support (10% of role): You will provide administrative assistance to the CEO and broader team as needed. This may include scheduling, inbox management, document preparation, and various organizational tasks that keep the business running smoothly.
  • Report Preparation (5% of role): You will compile performance reports for clients and internal stakeholders, summarizing key metrics, insights, and recommendations in a clear and digestible format.
  • SEO Blog Proofreading and Editing (5% of role): You will review and quality-check SEO blog posts written by our India-based content team, ensuring that all content meets our high standards for grammar, tone, accuracy, and readability.
  • Lead Generation and Follow-Up (5% of role): You will assist with online lead generation efforts and follow up with prospective clients to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel.

Additional Coordination Responsibilities

While you will not be personally executing every task, you may also be asked to coordinate the following initiatives with other members of the arenaflex team:

  • Video Editing projects
  • Copywriting assignments
  • Website creation and updates
  • Social media management across various platforms
  • Online lead generation campaigns and follow-up sequences
  • Product research and competitive analysis

Knowledge of or prior experience in any of these areas is considered a strong plus, though it is not essential to be considered for the role.

Essential Requirements

To succeed at arenaflex, you should meet the following core qualifications:

  • Location: You must be based in the Philippines and able to work remotely with a fast computer and high-speed internet connection, along with reliable power.
  • Written English: You must have excellent written English skills, as you will be communicating directly with English-speaking clients, proofreading SEO blog content, and representing the arenaflex brand in writing.
  • Facebook Ads Experience: You should have prior experience managing Facebook ad campaigns or at least a working knowledge of how the platform operates. If you have no experience but a strong willingness to learn, we are happy to provide training.
  • Google Ads Experience: You may be required to manage Google AdWords and Shopping campaigns, so prior experience or a Google Ads certification is ideal. Again, training is available for the right candidate.
  • English-Speaking Work History: You must have proven experience working with English-speaking employers or clients.
  • Organizational Skills: You must be highly organized, capable of working independently, and know when to ask for help when needed.
  • Flexibility and Initiative: You must be willing to assist wherever the CEO requires support, including general administrative work as needed.
  • Graphic Design Skills: You should be comfortable designing graphics using Canva or a similar platform.

Preferred Qualifications and Nice-to-Have Skills

While not strictly required, candidates with the following skills will stand out:

  • Video editing experience using tools such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar software
  • Copywriting experience for ads, landing pages, emails, and blog content
  • Website creation experience using WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or similar platforms
  • Social media management experience across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok
  • Online lead generation experience, including outreach, cold emailing, and CRM management
  • Product research and market analysis skills
  • Prior experience using project management tools such as Basecamp, Asana, Trello, or Monday.com
