Role Description This part-time hybrid role for a Property Management Assistant combines in-office work in Federal Way, WA, with certain responsibilities that may be completed remotely. The Property Management Assistant will support day-to-day operations by handling administrative tasks, assisting with lease administration, coordinating maintenance and vendor communication, supporting tenant and owner relations, and maintaining accurate property records. This position requires someone who is highly organized, dependable, and capable of troubleshooting issues as they arise. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, the initiative to research and learn unfamiliar situations, and the ability to help resolve challenges efficiently and professionally in a fast-paced property management environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to professionally interact with tenants, property owners, vendors, and team members
  • Experience or familiarity with property management, lease administration, or real estate operations preferred
  • Proficiency in administrative support functions including scheduling, recordkeeping, documentation, and organization
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with the capacity to think critically and identify practical solutions
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes, research unfamiliar situations, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment
  • Proficiency with computer systems and property management software, or a strong willingness and ability to learn new software platforms
  • Ability to remain professional, resourceful, and calm when handling tenant concerns or operational challenges
  • Previous experience in real estate, customer service, construction coordination, or property management is a plus
