Concerts, SVP Of Business Development [Remote]

THE JOB DPS is seeking a senior business development executive to drive strategic growth across live events, touring, experiential activations, festivals, branded entertainment, corporate events, and large-scale production partnerships. Working closely with DPS and Live Nation Concerts leadership, this role will help shape and execute the company's long-term growth strategy by identifying new market opportunities, developing client relationships, and building scalable partnerships. The ideal candidate combines deep industry relationships, strong commercial acumen, and a thorough understanding of the live entertainment and production ecosystem. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO Strategic Growth & Business Development

  • Partner with DPS and Live Nation Concerts leadership to define and execute long-term growth initiatives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across live entertainment, experiential, touring, festivals, sports, branded activations, and corporate events
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Expand relationships with agencies, promoters, brands, venues, production partners, and corporate clients
  • Help grow DPS's corporate events and brand experience business, including conferences, launches, executive events, and large-scale activations

Strategic Partnerships & Relationship Management

  • Build and strengthen partnerships across the live entertainment and production ecosystem
  • Cultivate senior-level relationships with clients, decision-makers, and industry stakeholders
  • Serve as a senior external representative of DPS and support long-term market positioning efforts
  • Partner with internal leadership to ensure alignment and continuity across key accounts

Opportunity Evaluation & Market Strategy

  • Collaborate with Operations, Production, and Finance teams to assess strategic fit, operational feasibility, and profitability of new opportunities
  • Prioritize initiatives aligned with DPS's capabilities and long-term objectives
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging market opportunities
  • Provide leadership with market insights and recommendations to support business planning and expansion

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, live events, entertainment, experiential marketing, touring, corporate events, or related industries
  • Strong network across the live entertainment and production landscape
  • Proven success developing new business opportunities and driving revenue growth
  • Experience contributing to growth strategy and market expansion initiatives
  • Strong understanding of live event production and client dynamics
  • Executive-level communication, relationship management, and presentation skills
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to work across operational, creative, and executive teams
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented, execution-focused approach
