Your primary responsibility is to listen attentively, assess each caller’s situation, and deliver accurate, empathetic solutions—whether the call involves simple navigation guidance or a critical emergency such as an accident or vehicle theft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls and digital inquiries from drivers across the United States (excluding CA, NY, PA, WA) and Canada, providing timely assistance for safety services including Emergency Assistance, Automatic Collision Notification, Hands‑Free Destination Assist, and Stolen Vehicle Locator.
  • Demonstrate active listening and empathy, ensuring callers feel heard, reassured, and supported throughout each interaction.
  • Accurately assess the severity of each situation, escalating emergency calls to the appropriate response team while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Utilize arenaflex’s proprietary software tools to locate vehicles, dispatch assistance, and document call outcomes in real time.
  • Multi‑task efficiently—research routes, verify driver identities, and input data while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Follow strict privacy and security protocols to protect driver information and comply with all regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in regular training sessions, performance reviews, and knowledge‑sharing webinars to stay current on product updates and industry best practices.
  • Provide feedback to the product and operations teams to continuously improve the driver assistance experience.

Essential Qualifications

  • Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written). Bilingual candidates must be equally fluent in Spanish / English or French / English.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm, compassionate, and decisive during high‑stress or emergency scenarios.
  • Strong customer‑service orientation with a proven track record of active listening and problem‑solving.
  • Reliable high‑speed broadband internet (minimum 10 Mbps) and a quiet, uninterrupted workspace.
  • Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system, up‑to‑date antivirus software, and a wired USB headset (gaming headsets are not permitted).
  • Smartphone (Android or iOS) or tablet capable of installing authentication apps required for secure access to arenaflex systems.
  • Successful completion of a background check and a technology readiness assessment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in driver assistance, roadside assistance, or automotive safety services.
  • Familiarity with GPS navigation tools, mapping software, and telematics platforms.
  • Experience working remotely in a contract or freelance capacity.
  • Certification in emergency response, first aid, or related fields.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Empathy & Emotional Intelligence: Ability to connect with callers, de‑escalate tension, and provide reassurance.
  • Critical Thinking: Rapidly diagnose issues, prioritize actions, and make sound decisions under time constraints.
  • Multitasking: Simultaneously manage call flow, data entry, and navigation tools without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating multiple software interfaces, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and following detailed SOPs.
  • Communication Excellence: Clear, concise, and courteous articulation of instructions in both English and the secondary language.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet 24 × 7 client demand.
