Senior Director, Market Access – Diagnostics, Women’s Health & Reproductive Genetics

Job Description:

  • Lead national and regional payer engagement, including interactions with medical directors and policy decision-makers.
  • Secure coverage, appropriate reimbursement, and reduce administrative barriers across commercial and government payers.
  • Develop and lead market access strategies aligned with commercial goals and product positioning.
  • Advise on reimbursement pathways, payer dynamics, and access risks/opportunities across pipeline and in-market tests.
  • Guide coding, coverage, and payment strategy for modern technologies, informing business cases and go/no-go decisions.
  • Partner with Medical Affairs and Clinical teams to assess evidence gaps and shape evidence-generation strategies.
  • Support clinical study design to align with payer requirements for analytical validity, clinical validity, and clinical utility.
  • Collaborate with RCM to align reimbursement performance with payer policies and improve revenue capture.
  • Develop Market Access strategies to support product roadmap, pricing, and launch planning.
  • Track payer policies, clinical guidelines, competitive trends, and emerging evidence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or Life Sciences
  • 10 or more years of experience in market access, reimbursement or payer strategy within diagnostics, biotech, or healthcare services.
  • Expertise in women’s health, reproductive genetics, or molecular diagnostics
  • Demonstrated success securing payer coverage and reimbursement for novel diagnostics.
  • Strong understanding of coding, coverage, and payment pathways for IVDs and LDTs.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive‑level presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence without direct authority.
