Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2026-06-10

About arenaflex

At arenaflex, we believe that data is the most powerful compass guiding modern business decisions. As a forward-thinking technology and analytics organization, arenaflex partners with enterprises around the globe to transform raw information into strategic intelligence. Our work influences product development, marketing strategy, operational efficiency, and customer experience across a diverse portfolio of digital services. We are a company built on the foundation of innovation, intellectual curiosity, and a relentless drive to solve complex problems through the lens of mathematics, statistics, and machine learning.

The modern digital economy generates more data in a single day than was produced in the entire year 2000. Within this ocean of information lies untapped potential—patterns, correlations, anomalies, and predictive signals that, when discovered, can reshape entire industries. At arenaflex, our Data Scientists and Analytics professionals are the explorers of this ocean. They chart courses through massive datasets, identify islands of insight, and chart navigational routes that help leadership teams make confident, evidence-based decisions.

Joining arenaflex means stepping into a collaborative environment where analytical rigor meets creative storytelling, where the rigor of statistical modeling is paired with the art of persuasive communication. Whether you are an emerging graduate or an experienced analyst looking for a remote-first role with purpose, this position offers the platform, the mentorship, and the impact you have been searching for.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Remote Data Analytics Specialist to join our growing Quantitative Research team. This is a full-time, remote-eligible position offering a competitive hourly rate of $25/hour, standard eight-hour workdays, and a rich pipeline of meaningful projects. The successful candidate will work on challenging data problems, build scalable analytical models, and translate complex findings into actionable recommendations that shape the products and services used by millions of people every day.

This role is ideal for individuals who are currently pursuing—or have recently completed—a graduate-level degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or Information Sciences. If you have a passion for turning numbers into narratives, and if you thrive on the satisfaction of solving puzzles hidden in data, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quantitative Analysis and Modeling: Conduct end-to-end data analysis to support business and product decisions, including cost-benefit analyses, investment trade-off studies, forecasting, and impact assessments. Build statistical models and predictive frameworks that enable stakeholders to anticipate future trends and quantify uncertainty.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Deliver compelling, clear, and visually engaging presentations of analytical findings to partners across the organization. Translate technical results into accessible narratives tailored to varied audiences, from engineers and product managers to senior executives.
  • Data Pipeline and Reporting Infrastructure: Develop, automate, and maintain reports and dashboards that deliver insights at scale. Iterate on dashboard design based on user feedback and evolving analytical needs, ensuring that decision-makers have timely, accurate, and actionable information at their fingertips.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and Operations teams to deeply understand business questions. Define analytical approaches, collect and process relevant data, perform rigorous analysis, and deliver findings that inform strategic roadmaps.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Provide quantitative guidance that helps arenaflex prioritize initiatives, refine product features, and improve service quality. Use statistical evidence to support or challenge assumptions, ensuring that strategic choices are grounded in data rather than intuition alone.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities where data-driven approaches can create business value. Stay current on emerging analytical methods, tools, and industry best practices, and champion their adoption within the team.

Essential Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a graduate degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, or Information Sciences. Recent graduates with relevant academic credentials are also encouraged to apply.
  • Hands-on experience working with statistical programming languages and data manipulation tools, including but not limited to R, SAS, Stata, MATLAB, or Python.
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate product and business questions, extract and manipulate data using SQL, and apply statistical methods to arrive at data-driven answers.
  • Strong foundation in descriptive, predictive, and inferential statistics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex, ambiguous problems into structured analytical plans.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical findings to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a part-time academic program in the United States with availability to work full-time during non-academic periods, or returning to an academic program after completing an internship.
  • In the penultimate academic year of a degree program, demonstrating strong academic standing and a clear trajectory toward continued learning.
  • Proven ability to translate analytical results into clear business implications and strategic recommendations.
  • Genuine interest in working with data, statistics, analytics, and emerging trends, paired with applied knowledge of measurement, evaluation, and program assessment methodologies.
  • Sharp business judgment combined with analytical rigor.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or equivalent platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses (such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift) and modern data pipeline tools.

Skills and Competencies for Success

  • Analytical Thinking: The ability to dissect problems, identify root causes, and construct evidence-based solutions.
  • Storytelling with Data: The talent for weaving quantitative findings into compelling narratives that drive decision-making.
  • Technical Fluency: Comfort navigating databases, statistical software, and visualization platforms with confidence.
  • Curiosity and Learning Agility: A genuine desire to explore unfamiliar datasets, test new hypotheses, and continuously expand your analytical toolkit.
  • Collaboration: A team-first mindset with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across functions.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in data handling, model construction, and reporting, paired with the ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Time Management: The capacity to balance multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.

At arenaflex, career development is not an afterthought—it is embedded in our culture. From day one, you will be paired with experienced mentors who will guide your professional journey, help you identify growth opportunities, and support your aspirations.
