  • At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or related analytics roles.
  • Proficiency with relational databases, including SQL query writing, schema design, and database optimization.

  • Strong business communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Technical Skills: Advanced SQL, Python (pandas, SQLAlchemy), ETL tools (Airflow, dbt), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Data Modeling: Ability to design normalized and denormalized schemas for OLTP and OLAP workloads.
  • Data Governance: Knowledge of data lineage, metadata management, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA).
  • Collaboration: Proven experience working cross‑functionally with product, engineering, and business teams.
  • Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting mindset, capable of diagnosing performance bottlenecks and data integrity issues.
  • Communication: Ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences with clarity and confidence.
