Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Resource Security, you will lead a cross‑functional team and serve as a trusted advisor on security strategy, risk mitigation, and operational excellence. Your day‑to‑day duties will include:

  • Strategic Guidance: Maintain and evolve policies for operational and business initiatives, providing execution support that aligns with arenaflex’s growth objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Identify, design, and implement process improvements that enhance both customer and partner experiences while fostering the development of new capabilities.
  • Risk & Safety Oversight: Monitor safety and risk metrics for new store roll‑outs, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
  • Cross‑Functional Advocacy: Act as the voice of Retail Resource Security, collaborating with the Global Safety & Security organization, Retail Operations, and other key stakeholders on a case‑by‑case basis.
  • Data Stewardship: Manage sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality, adhering to data‑privacy policies and industry best practices.
  • Issue Resolution: Partner with store and corporate leadership teams to identify and resolve safety, inventory, and physical security concerns promptly.
  • Communication & Reporting: Work with data analytics and reporting teams to develop clear, actionable communications for both store and field leadership regarding security, risk, inventory accuracy, and compliance.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to all corporate policies, maintain satisfactory participation rates, and follow all training and customer service guidelines.

Essential Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you must bring a blend of hands‑on experience, analytical acumen, and strong interpersonal skills. The following qualifications are required:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in retail resource security or a related security function.
  • Ability to travel locally up to 75% of the time, supporting multiple store sites and field operations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in security management, criminology, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proficiency with arenaflex (formerly GBQ, Looker, and MS Office) for data analysis, reporting, and presentation.
  • Demonstrated experience in inventory management, data analysis, and executing basic financial controls.
  • Knowledge of access‑control systems and CCTV technologies (preferred).
  • Proven track record of applying health and safety best practices, policies, and programs within a retail environment.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities, with strong prioritization and time‑management skills.
  • Adaptability to support multiple processes across dynamic, fast‑changing business needs.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data clearly to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, with experience turning data‑driven insights into actionable outcomes.
  • Business acumen such as financial planning and strategic thinking (preferred).
