Our mission is to blend creativity with technology, creating unforgettable experiences that keep audiences engaged and coming back for more. As part of our rapid expansion, arenaflex is investing heavily in product innovation, data‑driven decision making, and seamless cross‑functional collaboration. If you are passionate about shaping the future of digital entertainment and want to start your career in a dynamic, fast‑growing environment, this is the perfect launchpad.

Why This Role Matters

As an Entry‑Level Full Stack Product Designer in the Development Notices Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving arenaflex’s product growth. You will help design, test, and refine user‑facing features that directly influence subscriber acquisition, retention, and revenue generation. Your work will touch every layer of the stack—from backend services that power billing and authentication, to frontend experiences that delight users across web, mobile, and TV platforms. This is a high‑visibility position where your contributions will be measured in real‑world financial impact and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineers to define and prioritize feature roadmaps that align with arenaflex’s growth objectives.
  • Design and implement A/B testing frameworks to evaluate new product concepts, messaging strategies, and UI variations.
  • Write clean, maintainable code in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and related languages to build both frontend and backend components.
  • Develop responsive web interfaces using modern CSS preprocessors (Sass/LESS) and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
  • Construct and optimize SQL queries on large‑scale data platforms such as SparkSQL, Presto, Hive, and BigQuery to extract actionable insights.
  • Architect scalable, extensible APIs that enable seamless integration between frontend experiences and backend services.
  • Build reusable UI component libraries and email templates (including AMP Email) to ensure consistency across campaigns.
  • Partner with Android, iOS, Web, and TV UI engineers to deliver cohesive cross‑platform experiences.
  • Work closely with backend teams responsible for authentication, payments, subscriptions, and content management to ensure end‑to‑end functionality.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies, contributing ideas that improve team velocity and product quality.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, churn, and revenue uplift, translating data into actionable product recommendations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Human‑Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Technical Foundations: Proficiency in Java or another object‑oriented language; solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Frontend Skills: Experience building responsive web applications using HTML5, CSS3, and a modern JavaScript framework.
  • Data‑Driven Mindset: Hands‑on experience designing and executing A/B tests to drive product decisions.
  • Database Knowledge: Ability to write efficient SQL queries on large data sets; familiarity with SparkSQL, Presto, Hive, or similar technologies.
  • API Design: Experience designing clean, versioned RESTful or gRPC APIs that are easy to consume and extend.
  • Collaboration: Strong communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
  • Problem‑Solving: Demonstrated curiosity and a systematic approach to debugging complex issues.

Preferred (Nice‑to‑Have) Skills

  • Experience building backend services that support frontend experiences, such as notification pipelines or subscription management.
  • Background working with product development teams on large‑scale consumer applications.
  • Knowledge of multi‑channel messaging (Push, SMS, in‑app notifications, and email) and the ability to integrate these channels into a unified user journey.
  • Familiarity with internationalization (i18n) frameworks and best practices for global product releases.
  • Experience creating responsive, accessible HTML or AMP Email templates that render consistently across devices.
  • Exposure to building high‑throughput gRPC services and understanding of service‑mesh architectures.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make evidence‑based recommendations.
  • Customer‑Centric Design: Empathy for end users and a focus on delivering intuitive, delightful experiences.
  • Agile Mindset: Comfort working in fast‑paced sprints, iterating quickly, and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Skill in building relationships across product, engineering, data, and design teams.
  • Continuous Learning: Eagerness to stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Quality Assurance: Commitment to writing unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests to ensure reliability.

  • Opportunities to attend industry conferences, hackathons, and workshops (both virtual and in‑person).
  • A clear promotion pathway from Associate Product Designer to Senior Designer, Lead Engineer, and eventually Product Management roles.
  • Cross‑team rotations that allow you to explore backend services, data science, or content strategy.
