Why This Role Matters

As a Customer Service Agent at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for our guests at ticket counters, baggage service offices, and gate areas. • Assist passengers with baggage and cargo inquiries, including check‑in, tracking, and resolution of mishandled items.
  • Answer telephone calls, provide flight information, resolve complaints, and page customers as needed.
  • Facilitate boarding procedures efficiently, ensuring aircraft turn‑around times meet operational targets.
  • Address oversell, delayed, or cancelled flight situations with empathy, offering solutions within arenaflex guidelines.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of fare structures, schedules, and reservation policies to answer general inquiries.
  • Complete required forms, irregularity reports, and documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with teammates and station leadership to achieve department goals and uphold safety standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs, achieving an 80% or higher average score and meeting evaluation criteria.

Essential Qualifications

  • Eligibility to work in the United States – U.S. citizenship or authorized work status as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.

  • Physical capability to lift up to 70 lb regularly and repeatedly move items weighing 40‑50 lb onto raised surfaces.
  • Willingness to obtain a SIDA badge and comply with local airport security requirements; potential need for a Customs Seal for international operations.

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Proficient typing and computer keyboard skills to meet the fast‑paced demands of ticketing and check‑in systems.
  • Strong verbal communication abilities – clear, courteous, and effective over the phone, face‑to‑face, and via public address systems.
  • Excellent written communication for completing reports, irregularity forms, and documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm and solution‑focused under pressure, especially during flight disruptions.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to assist colleagues and share best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of airline regulations, fare rules, and safety protocols (training will be provided).
  • Foreign language proficiency is a plus, enhancing service for diverse passenger demographics.
