Position Overview

As a key contributor on the Product Development team, the Leisure Products Pricing & Performance Analyst will be the primary analytical engine behind our leisure product strategy. You will own the development, maintenance, and continuous refinement of pricing models, lead competitive research initiatives, and produce financial reporting that guides executive decision-making. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience, obsessed with continuous improvement, and energized by the challenge of balancing creative problem-solving with disciplined data analysis. This role reports to senior leadership within the Product Development organization and collaborates daily with cross-functional partners including Revenue Management, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and external brand partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pricing Strategy & Management: Own the day-to-day management of pricing for the leisure product portfolio, including the application of mark-ups, promotional discounts, and competitive adjustments that maximize net revenue while protecting brand integrity.
  • Pricing Model Development: Design, build, and continuously enhance existing and new pricing models that forecast demand, identify price elasticity, and surface opportunities for portfolio optimization.
  • Product Launch Support: Serve as a lead analytical resource on new product initiatives, partnering with stakeholders to scope, model, and measure the impact of every launch on overall revenue performance.
  • Accuracy & Data Integrity: Maintain rigorous standards of data accuracy across all reporting and modeling outputs, ensuring that every figure shared with leadership is reliable and defensible.
  • Financial Reporting: Produce weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc financial reports for Leisure Products, translating complex data into clear narratives that inform strategic decisions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track, monitor, and analyze leisure product performance against KPIs, surfacing trends, anomalies, and opportunities for senior management.
  • Competitive Research: Conduct detailed competitive research using multiple internal and external sources to inform pricing, packaging, and positioning decisions across the leisure portfolio.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Respond to ad-hoc research and analysis requests from leadership, delivering timely and accurate insights that support time-sensitive business questions.
  • Reporting Suite Stewardship: Create, support, and maintain the Product Development reporting suite, ensuring tools and dashboards remain current, scalable, and user-friendly.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Build and nurture trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, acting as a credible analytical partner who consistently adds value.
  • Partner Liaison: Serve as the day-to-day analytical contact for key brand partners, including car rental and ancillary service collaborators.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the evolving needs of the Product Development team.

Essential Qualifications & Educational Requirements

  • A minimum of 3+ years of relevant professional work experience in pricing, analytics, revenue management, financial analysis, or a closely related discipline.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field from an accredited institution.
  • Prior experience within the airline, travel, or hospitality industry is strongly preferred and will be highly valued.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, and data visualization techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical programming languages or BI tools, such as SQL Server, Power BI, Python, or R, is a significant plus.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

  • Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: An exceptional critical thinker and effective problem solver with a talent for crafting smart, practical solutions to ambiguous business challenges.
  • Storytelling with Data: The ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations and process improvements for non-technical audiences.
  • Detail Orientation: Meticulous, highly organized, and committed to delivering accurate, polished work products under tight deadlines.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: A persistent focus on getting better every day, with a passion for refining processes, models, and reporting.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in presenting to senior management and executive stakeholders.
  • Collaboration & Influence: A proven ability to collaborate across functions and drive results at all levels of the organization, building networks and ensuring shared wins.
  • Agility & Ambiguity Tolerance: The capacity to think on your feet, move quickly through uncertainty, and turn early ideas into flexible, scalable products.
  • Systems Thinking: Solid systems-thinking skills, with the ability to understand how data flows through interconnected platforms and tools.
