About arenaflex

arenaflex is a global leader in digital security, threat intelligence, and advanced data analytics. With a heritage of pioneering solutions for cloud platforms, government agencies, and Fortune‑500 enterprises, arenaflex empowers organizations to anticipate, detect, and neutralize cyber threats before they impact critical operations. Our mission is to transform raw data into actionable insight, delivering peace of mind to clients across highly regulated sectors such as finance, healthcare, energy, and public safety. As a remote‑first, innovation‑driven company, arenaflex invests heavily in cutting‑edge technology, continuous learning, and a culture that celebrates curiosity, collaboration, and resilience.

Why This Role Matters

In today’s hyper‑connected world, the line between business operations and cyber security is increasingly blurred. Our clients rely on precise, timely data entry and sophisticated threat intelligence to make strategic decisions that protect their assets, reputation, and compliance posture. As a Senior Analyst – Remote Data Entry & Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist, you will be the bridge between raw data streams and the strategic actions of senior leadership, security teams, and incident responders. Your work will directly influence how organizations defend against nation‑state actors, ransomware gangs, and emerging malware families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Collection & Validation: Accurately ingest, cleanse, and normalize large volumes of threat data from open‑source feeds, proprietary sensors, and partner portals.
  • Threat Intelligence Analysis: Conduct deep‑dive investigations of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) across the kill‑chain phases of Reconnaissance, Delivery, Exploitation, and Recovery.
  • Report Generation & Presentation: Produce concise, executive‑level briefings, technical reports, and actionable recommendations tailored to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner with senior leaders, security architects, incident response teams, and external agencies to translate intelligence into operational guidance.
  • Strategic Advisory: Advise clients on emerging threat trends, risk mitigation strategies, and best‑practice security controls aligned with industry frameworks (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK).
  • Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Train junior analysts on CTI methodologies, data handling procedures, and effective communication techniques.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps in existing data pipelines, propose automation enhancements, and contribute to the evolution of arenaflex’s threat intelligence platform.
  • Compliance & Security Clearance Management: Maintain adherence to US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) requirements, including regular polygraph re‑certifications.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience in digital threat intelligence, cyber‑risk analysis, or a comparable role within a client‑facing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with CTI tools and platforms (e.g., MISP, ThreatConnect, Recorded Future) and familiarity with data formats such as STIX, TAXII, and JSON.
  • Proven experience handling US Government Top Secret/SCI data, including successful completion of a polygraph interview.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to senior executives and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, dynamic environments while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CISSP, GCTI, CEH, or OSCP.
  • Experience with cloud security architectures, particularly Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
  • Background in incident response, malware analysis, or forensic investigation.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for data automation and enrichment.
  • Previous work with government agencies or contractors handling classified information.
  • Demonstrated track record of publishing threat intelligence reports or contributing to industry‑wide threat sharing communities.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to synthesize disparate data points into coherent threat narratives.
  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of network protocols, endpoint detection, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Communication Excellence: Crafting clear, concise, and impactful written reports and delivering compelling oral briefings.
  • Collaboration: Working effectively with cross‑functional teams, external partners, and senior leadership.
  • Adaptability: Quickly adjusting to evolving threat landscapes and shifting client priorities.
  • Ethical Judgment: Handling sensitive data with the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.

Career Growth & Learning Opportunities

arenaflex is committed to the professional development of its analysts. In this role, you will have access to:

  • Mentorship from industry veterans who have led cyber‑operations for Fortune‑500 firms and government agencies.
  • Annual training budgets for certifications, conferences (e.g., Black Hat, RSA, SANS), and specialized workshops.
  • Opportunities to transition into senior advisory, threat‑hunting, or security architecture positions after demonstrating mastery of CTI disciplines.
  • Cross‑departmental projects that expose you to cloud security, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Participation in arenaflex’s internal “Innovation Lab,” where you can prototype new analytics tools and influence product roadmaps.
