Why This Role Matters

As the Manager, Analytics – Paid Media Insight, you will be at the heart of arenaflex’s paid media strategy. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to uncover hidden opportunities, optimize spend, and drive measurable business outcomes. Your analytical expertise will directly influence how arenaflex allocates budget, refines campaign performance, and delivers ROI for stakeholders across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Insight Generation: Translate complex paid‑media data into clear, actionable insights that guide strategic decisions and improve campaign efficiency.
  • Strategic Roadmap Development: Design, build, and lead the execution of analytics, BI, and data science initiatives focused on enhancing paid‑media performance and overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with paid‑media, product, finance, and engineering teams to develop media mix models, solve business problems, and track performance using a data‑first approach.
  • Reporting & Dashboard Creation: Own the development and maintenance of both scheduled and ad‑hoc reports using SQL, MicroStrategy, Tableau, PowerBI, and other visualization tools.
  • Deep‑Dive Analyses: Conduct root‑cause investigations, identify key drivers of performance, and present findings in a compelling narrative to senior leadership.
  • Data Integration: Leverage internal data from arenaflex as well as external market research to solve complex business challenges and inform product strategy.
  • Customer Behavior Research: Design and execute studies that uncover customer intent, preferences, and buying patterns to refine targeting and messaging.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor junior analysts, foster a culture of curiosity, and champion best practices in data governance and analytical rigor.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in business analytics, consulting, or data science within an e‑commerce or digital advertising environment.
  • SQL Expertise: Advanced proficiency in writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and managing large data sets.
  • BI Tool Mastery: Demonstrated experience with at least one major analytics platform (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, QuickSight, MicroStrategy).
  • Statistical Modeling: Strong background in statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python (or R) for data manipulation, analysis, and automation; familiarity with Java or C# is a plus.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into business‑focused recommendations.
