Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, customer‑oriented Customer Service Executive to become the face of arenaflex’s front‑of‑house operations. In this pivotal role, you will orchestrate the entire guest journey—from the moment a patron steps through the door to the final farewell—ensuring that each interaction reflects arenaflex’s standards of hospitality excellence. This position offers a unique blend of interpersonal engagement, operational coordination, and problem‑solving, making it ideal for individuals who thrive in fast‑paced environments and possess a genuine passion for delivering memorable service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Reception & Warm Welcome: Greet every guest with a sincere smile, acknowledge their presence, and create an inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a remarkable dining experience.
  • Reservation Management: Handle phone, online, and walk‑in reservations with precision, confirm bookings, and coordinate seating plans to maximize table turnover while respecting guest preferences.
  • Table Assignment & Seating: Escort guests to their tables, introduce them to the host/hostess team, and ensure that seating arrangements align with party size, special requests, and accessibility needs.
  • Menu Guidance & Upselling: Offer knowledgeable menu recommendations, highlight signature dishes and seasonal specials, and suggest complementary beverages to enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Order Accuracy & Coordination: Take food and beverage orders with meticulous attention to detail, relay them to the kitchen and bar teams, and monitor progress to guarantee timely delivery.
  • Service Monitoring: Continuously observe the dining floor, anticipate guest needs, and proactively address any service gaps before they become issues.
  • Complaint Resolution: Listen empathetically to guest concerns, resolve issues swiftly and professionally, and follow up to ensure satisfaction, turning potential negatives into positive brand advocacy.
  • Collaboration with Back‑of‑House: Maintain open communication channels with chefs, bartenders, and support staff to synchronize order flow, special requests, and dietary restrictions.
  • Dining Area Maintenance: Oversee cleanliness and organization of the dining room, ensuring tables, chairs, and décor meet health and safety standards at all times.
  • Payment Processing: Accurately handle cash, credit, and digital transactions, issue receipts, and reconcile daily sales reports in alignment with arenaflex’s financial protocols.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Uphold arenaflex’s reputation by embodying the company’s values—integrity, hospitality, and teamwork—in every guest interaction.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in a customer‑service role, preferably within a high‑volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and active‑listening skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and courteously.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining composure, positivity, and attention to detail.
  • Strong multitasking capabilities, including the capacity to juggle reservations, order entry, and guest inquiries simultaneously.
  • Fundamental knowledge of restaurant operations, menu terminology, and basic food safety principles.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant schedule.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality‑related certifications (e.g., ServSafe) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Assets

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems such as Toast, Square, or Lightspeed.
  • Fluency in a second language, enhancing communication with diverse guest demographics.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets through effective upselling and cross‑selling techniques.
  • Recognition for outstanding customer service, such as employee awards or commendations.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Interpersonal Excellence: Ability to build rapport quickly, understand guest preferences, and adapt communication style to suit varied personalities.
  • Problem‑Solving Acumen: Quick identification of service issues and implementation of effective solutions without escalating to management whenever possible.
  • Organizational Precision: Strong scheduling and time‑management skills to ensure smooth flow of guests during peak periods.
  • Team Collaboration: Cooperative mindset that encourages seamless interaction with kitchen, bar, and management teams.
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using reservation platforms, digital ordering tools, and basic office software for reporting.
  • Attention to Detail: Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and order accuracy.
