Position Overview

We are seeking a self‑motivated, enthusiastic professional who thrives in a dynamic, education‑focused setting. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in customer service, sales, and basic operational tasks, along with a genuine passion for mathematics and education. This full‑time position is based in San Diego, CA, and offers a blend of in‑center and remote responsibilities, with training provided to ensure your success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Student & Parent Engagement: Warmly greet and interact with students and their families, building rapport, establishing trust, and understanding each family’s unique learning goals.
  • Sales Outreach & Enrollment: Conduct proactive outreach via phone, email, and text; follow up on leads; provide program consultations; and guide families through the enrollment process.
  • Data Management: Accurately enter and maintain data in spreadsheets and our CRM system, tracking sales activities, enrollment metrics, and operational tasks.
  • Assessment & Reporting: Administer student assessments, grade results, generate progress reports, and prepare materials for parent review sessions.
  • Digital Marketing Support: Contribute to arenaflex’s online presence by drafting blog posts, creating social media content, and updating website channels with engaging educational material.
  • Administrative & Facility Support: Assist center staff with clerical duties, inventory tracking, and light cleaning to ensure a tidy, organized learning environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with tutors, managers, and leadership to share insights, suggest improvements, and help shape the center’s operational strategies.

Essential Qualifications

  • Recent college graduate with a degree in mathematics, sciences, engineering, communications, education, or a related field.
  • Strong foundational math skills through at least Algebra, enabling you to confidently discuss curriculum and assist with basic tutoring support.
  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in a customer‑service role within an office or retail environment.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities, with a track record of handling inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, paired with superior organizational capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with data entry and spreadsheet management.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, attention to detail, and reliability.
  • Availability to work the required schedule: 1 PM – 7 PM Monday‑Friday and 9 AM – 1 PM Saturday.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience tutoring or teaching mathematics to K‑12 students, either in‑person or virtually.
  • Familiarity with educational technology platforms, student information systems, or CRM tools.
  • Background in digital marketing, content creation, or social media management.
  • Certification or coursework in customer service excellence, sales techniques, or educational administration.
