2 Semester Virtual Position Accepting Applications for 2025 Time Periods TSE Entertainment seeks Talent Booking Interns, with a primary responsibility for assisting with the entertainment booking process for acts for TSE’s clients. The intern is expected to gain valuable skills in developing leads, booking and advancing performances for a variety of different kinds of venues, including clubs, theaters, fairs, festivals, etc., Intern will act as a booking assistant to lead booking agents, learning the ropes of becoming a good booking agent, The internship will also provide the opportunity to learn all the other facets that go into producing a live entertainment event. TSE Entertainment is seeking candidates who are self-starting and able to multitask for Fall/Spring or Spring/Summer, internship positions. We offer you the opportunity to work from home or your dorm using collaborative tools such as Zoom, Asana, Dropbox, Google apps, Celebrity Access, etc. The Internship: TSE is seeking part-time talent booking Interns to work as a virtual assistant to booking agents. Internships during school year are unpaid and students can receive college course credit. Learning Objectives:

  • Develop competence in using collaborative tools for booking, event management. and business booking operations.
  • Work with Client and TSE booking team members to support programming goals
  • Facilitate the booking process and all of its components from lead development to advancing shows.
  • Interface with others on hospitality and technical riders for performances
  • Keep booking calendars current
  • Provide administrative and day of support for lead booking agent including creating lead lists, booking follow-ups, and issues involved in preparation of performances
  • Helps ordering and logistics of supplies and equipment
  • Responsible for learning and managing artist rider issues
  • Learn how to compile local prospect lists and follow process for securing leads
  • Review, edit and maintain artist information
  • Write news releases and blog posts using SEO strategies.
  • Conduct lead generation marketing campaign follow ups.

Requirements: Current Student (Upper Class Only)

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Majoring in marketing, communications, music business/management or a related field
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have an avid interest in music, knowledgeable about artists and genres, and an overall interest in learning about the music industry
  • Must be able to commit to 15- 20 hours per week
  • Knowledge of social media sites and tools, and an active participant in social networking
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks while working in a virtual office environment.

Internships during school year are unpaid Recent Graduate (compensated Internships)

  • Degree in entertainment-related field, marketing, communications, music business/management or a related field
  • Must have an avid interest in music, be knowledgeable about artists and genres, and have an overall interest in learning about the music industry
  • Must be able to commit to 17 – 20 hours per week
  • Knowledge of social media sites and tools, and an active participant in social networking
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks while working in a virtual office environment.
