Business Development Representative

Xurrent is an innovative company focused on AI-driven Operations Management solutions. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to drive sales opportunities by collaborating with account executives and utilizing various outreach channels. This role is vital for professional development and success in sales within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales development targets including 50+ calls per day
  • Work to collaborate with account executives and channel sales representatives to create and execute territory development plans
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Xurrent service, its positioning, buyers, customers and partners
  • Become a black belt in account research, account intelligence gathering, and decision making unit identification
  • Proactively and creatively search for and uncover new business opportunities in territory
  • Build consultative and value-seeking relationships with prospects
  • Maintain detailed account intelligence contact summaries, and activity records in Salesforce
  • Identify and improve best practices to help refine the Xurrent’s lead generation playbook
  • Manage chat traffic and trial questions and route to appropriate internal resource
  • Work on-site events such as shows and exhibitions, to drive traffic to our booth, presentations and round tables
  • Approach every day with a positive attitude and an eagerness to continue professional development

Skills

  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or internships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (cold email, phone, etc.)
  • Ability to manage high activity volume (calls, emails, social outreach)
  • Basic understanding of sales processes (lead qualification, pipeline stages)
  • Comfort with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar)
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • 1+ years of BDR/SDR or outbound prospecting experience
  • Experience in SaaS or technology sales
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding activity or meeting quotas
  • Strong research and personalization skills for outbound campaigns
  • Exposure to multi-channel prospecting (phone, email, social, events)
