HR Liaison – Telework Hybrid

California Correctional Health Care Services is seeking an HR Liaison to support the Department of Motor Vehicles. The role involves facilitating the hiring process, managing HR-related projects, and providing consultation on personnel management issues.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Division’s HR Liaison to facilitate the hiring process
  • Work with a team of HR Liaisons and hiring managers
  • Complete HR related projects
  • Conduct research
  • Write various HR related processes
  • Train managers regarding processes and procedures
  • Review and coordinate HR related documents
  • Serve as a consultant for the Division's personnel management issues
  • Prepare DMV Action Requests to establish, reclassify, or abolish positions to meet personnel management and budgeting requirements
  • Maintain the Division’s position monitoring system and analyze the data collected in order to make effective recommendations to OPS management regarding position and fund usage

  • Eligibility for appointment (must take and pass examination)
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Experience with HR policies and procedures as it relates to the hiring process and position management

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
