Subcontracts Administrator Associate

General Dynamics Information Technology is a global technology and professional services company that delivers consulting, technology and mission services. They are seeking a Subcontracts Administrator Associate to administer subcontracts, support new business activities, and serve as a liaison between the program team and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

  • Administers subcontracts through pre-award planning, subcontract award, post-award administration, and closeout
  • Documents all actions in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and company policy
  • Supports new business activities including issuing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Teaming Agreements (TA), soliciting subcontractor proposals, negotiating subcontractor pricing, and evaluating proposal submissions
  • Performs analysis on proposed subcontractor pricing to ensure price reasonableness
  • Provides advice and interpretation of contract requirements
  • Team player who is willing to jump in and help others Subcontracts Administrators meet critical deadlines and is willing to at times work additional hours to meet mission needs
  • The ability to quickly move from one action to another with a strong memory and attention to detail
  • Generate reports or responses to data calls on subcontract activity as required
  • Serves as a liaison and facilitator between the program team and the subcontractor regarding contracting issues
  • Initiates and maintains a network of communication with GDIT internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers
  • Participates in special projects as required
  • May coach and provide guidance to less experienced professionals

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years of related experience in subcontracts administration or corporate environments
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective administrative and organizational skills both written and oral
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Effective communication skills
  • Problem solving skills and ability to juggle a volume of different activities on any given day
  • Customer service skills, attention to detail, responsiveness and highly productive in high stress situations
  • US Persons required
