Invisible Technologies is seeking a Norteño Dialect Specialist to contribute to the evolution of AI by providing expertise in the Norteño language. The role involves challenging language models, verifying their accuracy, and suggesting improvements to enhance AI training data for Norteño speakers.
Responsibilities
- Converse with the model on language scenarios
- Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness
- Capture reproducible error traces
- Suggest improvements to our prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
Skills
- A bachelor's degree in Norteño language, linguistics, or a closely related field is ideal
- Native-level fluency in Norteño language
- Deep, practical understanding of the dialect's nuances
- Extensive experience in teaching, translation, or community-based linguistic projects can substitute for a formal degree
- Clear, metacognitive communication—'showing your work'—is essential
