Business Analyst
Oak Point Partners is looking to hire entry-level candidates eager to launch their careers as a Business Analyst. This role involves performing process-driven activities such as corporate research and data analysis, while also focusing on optimizing business processes and technology initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Understand asset purchase agreements, conduct detailed corporate entity research investigating corporate structures and documenting key findings
- Analyze large datasets to identify and pursue revenue opportunities
- Document and analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improved productivity and efficiency
- Conduct user acceptance testing on new technology features and provide recommendations data-driven feedback to enhance system functionality
Skills
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, economics, data analysis, or a related field
- Strong academic record. 3.5 Undergraduate GPA or higher preferred
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, as well as an interest in data analysis
- Motivated with a strong desire to learn new skills
- Detail-oriented and ability to keep information organized
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products such as SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively present information to stakeholders at all levels
- Naturally curious, with the ability to adapt and become a subject matter expert on various operational processes
- Agile Skills: Adaptable and capable of working across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Goal oriented with clear understanding of achieving SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Timebound) performance goals
- Prior work internship or volunteering/community experience is preferred
