Location: This position is remote but must live within 30 minutes of a branch office. Schedule: Friday 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm Saturday & Sunday 8:30am - 5:00 pm Monday 8:30 am - 2:00 pm Your Role as an Intake Specialist:
- Serve as the first step in the patient care process by managing incoming referrals and ensuring all required documents and orders are complete.
- Process referrals with precision, handling a high volume of documents efficiently.
- Collaborate regularly with the operations team and sales department to ensure seamless coordination.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Processing new patient intakes.
- Conducting eligibility and benefit checks.
- Navigating EMR systems and other acceptance portals.
- Communicating with sales, operations, and referral sources.
- Managing and reconciling insurance changes on a weekly basis. Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
- Detail-oriented and capable of performing repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Experience with medical intake processes (preferred).
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and insurance portals (preferred) Why Choose Concierge Home Care?
