No teaching experience is required. “Best ever side hustle.” – Heather T., Fairfield, CA Lead Instructor ------------------------------------------------------- Who We’re Looking For We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated part-time Billing and Coding Specialist Lead Instructor to join our team. We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company that is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce! Morning and evening schedules are available. Schedule is: Monday and Wednesday from 1:00 pm- 5:00 pm Duties & Responsibilities: Advanced student learning through exemplary instruction by following an established course outline. Assist in student learning outcomes. Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching/learning strategies. Maintain appropriate standards of professionalism and conduct. Facilitate all required skill labs with an assistant skill instructor Grade class assignments and exams. Qualifications: High school Diploma or equivalent Bachelor’s Degree preferred 3 years of experience in a directly related field. 1 year of teaching experience preferred. License/certification associated with Medical Billing and Coding (CPC, CCS, or CMC) Must adhere to weekly class schedule Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately. Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards Comfortable with computers and technology. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
