Job Title: Pharmacist/Pharmacy Advisor Duration: 3 Months (Possibility to extend or conversion) Shift: M-F and rotating Sats (9:00a - 11:00a CST, Saturday shift would be 9:00a - 5:30p CST) Training(8:00a-4:30p CST) Location: Remote (WFH -Must be licensed in AZ, HI, TX, IL, FL, or PA) Note: Active Pharmacist License in one of the following states:
- AZ, HI, TX, IL, FL, PA
Position Overview The Pharmacist – Pharmacy Advisor supports a clinical program focused on improving outcomes for patients with chronic conditions. This role is highly telephonic and patient-facing , leveraging clinical expertise, behavioral coaching, and medication therapy management to drive adherence and optimize treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide telephonic patient counseling (90%) on medication therapy, adherence, chronic disease management (especially diabetes), and treatment optimization
- Collaborate with physicians, prescribers, pharmacies, and care teams to coordinate patient care
- Resolve medication-related issues and support overall therapy effectiveness
- Conduct outbound and inbound patient engagement to improve adherence and outcomes
- Apply behavioral modification and motivational interviewing techniques
- Identify therapy gaps and support medication adherence initiatives
- Work in a fast-paced, target-driven call center environment
- Contribute to process improvements and program development initiatives
- Hold a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy or PharmD with an active pharmacist license (AZ, HI, TX, IL, FL, or PA)
- Possess 1+ year of experience in retail, hospital, LTC, PBM, or clinical pharmacy, including patient counselling or consultation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Minimum 1+ year experience
in:
- Retail / Hospital / LTC / PBM / Clinical pharmacy
- Patient counseling or consultation
