What's In Store For You: Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099) This is a remote contract opportunity supporting compliance operations for a major banking institution. The role offers exposure to KYC quality control, AML/BSA/OFAC regulatory processes, customer due diligence documentation, and cross-functional compliance operations. How You Will Make An Impact

  • Perform quality control reviews of KYC, CIP, due diligence, enhanced due diligence, periodic review, and customer profile documentation.
  • Review work completed by KYC/ACG Analysts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with internal procedures.
  • Validate that required documentation, verification materials, and search evidence are properly captured in the KYC system.
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or missing information and work with relationship management or internal stakeholders to resolve issues within required timelines.
  • Escalate confirmed or suspected name matches, adverse media concerns, or other material risk indicators to appropriate compliance leadership.
  • Support operational efficiency by troubleshooting routine and moderately complex KYC/CIP system issues.
  • Contribute to compliance program integrity by ensuring adherence to AML, BSA, OFAC, and financial crimes compliance standards.
  • Partner with legal, risk, operations, and compliance teams to help resolve regulatory or documentation-related concerns.

Are you a proven KYC/AML compliance quality control professional?

  • 3–5 years of specialized experience in financial services, compliance operations, KYC, AML, or back-office banking operations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of AML, Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, CIP, KYC, customer due diligence, and enhanced due diligence requirements.
  • Experience reviewing KYC folders, customer profiles, periodic reviews, verification documents, alerts, or compliance cases.
  • Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and regulatory expectations with strong attention to accuracy and documentation quality.
  • Strong analytical, research, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with compliance systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to escalate issues clearly and appropriately.
  • BA/BS preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • CAMS certification preferred.
