Licensed Psychologist (NY) – Remote Flexible Position – $70/Hour

Hawthorn Health is seeking a New York licensed psychologist to join our growing mental health practice serving senior citizens throughout the community. This is a fully remote position requiring approximately 5–10 flexible hours per week. All intakes are conducted by telephone, making this an ideal opportunity for a psychologist looking for meaningful clinical work and supplemental income without the demands of a traditional in-person setting. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting psychotherapy intakes over the telephone for senior clients
• Reviewing and overseeing services provided by our social workers
• Providing occasional clinical guidance and support as needed
• Assisting with treatment planning and clinical oversight

Our practice focuses heavily on supporting the emotional wellbeing, adjustment, anxiety, depression, grief, and isolation commonly experienced within the geriatric population. We are looking for someone compassionate, organized, and comfortable working with older adults. Position Details:

• We plan on credentialing the psychologist with insurance panels associated with the practice

Requirements:

• Active New York Psychologist license
• Comfortable working with senior populations
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Professional liability coverage preferred
• Existing Medicare credentialing is a plus
