System Administrator
Responsibilities
- Maintain system efficiency
- Ensure system design allows all components to work together properly
- Make recommendations for upgrades
- Evaluate and modify system performance
- Participate in designing, creating, and managing system wide application security, back-up and recovery strategies.
- Oversee and review the successful ongoing execution of security, back-up and recovery processes.
- Monitor the system for application and operating system security breaches.
- Provide recommendations for hardware and software as requested.
Qualifications
- Familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning ERP software and concepts
- 1 to 2 years of experience in administration of SQL databases. preferred
- 1 to 2 years of experience working in an enterprise routed networking environment. Very familiar with TCP/IP terminology and resultant settings for server systems.
- 1 to 2 years of proven experience with project research, planning, cost analysis, and implementation preferred.
- Strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook and Project
