The Role CLFC is recruiting Registered Nurses to provide comprehensive nursing care at a federal healthcare facility in Wyoming. You will deliver direct patient care across medical, surgical, and specialty units, working collaboratively with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to ensure the highest standard of clinical outcomes. What You Will Do

  • Direct Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients across a range of acuity levels, including medical-surgical, acute care, and specialty units
  • Clinical Assessment: Perform comprehensive patient assessments, identify changes in condition, and initiate appropriate interventions in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments per physician orders and evidence-based protocols
  • Care Coordination: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, pharmacists, therapists, and social workers to develop and execute individualized care plans
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, discharge instructions, and preventive health measures
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records in compliance with federal documentation standards, Joint Commission requirements, and facility policies

What You Bring Required Qualifications:

  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wyoming or compact state (or ability to obtain Wyoming licensure prior to start)
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred, ADN accepted with experience)
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care, medical-surgical, or specialty setting
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal background clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient communication skills
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher
  • ACLS, PALS, or specialty nursing certifications
  • Previous federal, VA, DoD, or IHS healthcare experience
  • Experience in rural or frontier healthcare settings
  • Specialty experience in ICU, ED, OR, telemetry, or behavioral health
  • Charge nurse or nursing leadership experience
  • Cultural competency training or experience working with diverse patient populations

Compensation and Benefits
