About the Role

The Senior Logistics Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing transportation operations to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of goods. This role involves developing strategic transportation plans, managing carrier relationships, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Control the flow of raw and finished goods, services, and information between point of origin through receipt at the manufacturing site, through to customer placement.
  • Ensure the execution and continuous improvement of logistics processes.
  • Build relationships with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers through the resolution of delivery issues.
  • Select, negotiate, and manage carrier contracts to ensure service quality and cost efficiency.
  • Manage transportation budgets, monitor costs, and identify savings opportunities.
  • Track KPIs, analyze transportation data, and implement process improvements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to transportation operations.

Must Have Qualifications To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident in your applicant profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field and 7+ years experience in logistics, transportation, or distribution leadership.
  • Or Advanced Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field and 5+ years experience in logistics, transportation, or distribution leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in TMS and data analytics tools.
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $120,800.00 - $181,200.00. MiniMed offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. Regular employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for a robust benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as access to a Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, life insurance, long-term disability leave, and a dependent daycare spending account.
