Summary

We are seeking an experienced Illustrator to join our team and contribute to the creation of engaging children's books. The successful candidate shall be responsible for creating catchy, beautiful, and insightful children's book illustrations to enrich and compliment the stories and ideas behind them.

Responsibilities

Creating illustrations that are appropriate and appealing to children of various ages and that correspond with the narrative of the story and stimulate the imagination of children. Collaborating with the project coordinator to understand the story brief and develop suitable illustrations for each scene. Creating sketches that match the chosen master scene to reflect the spirit of the text and ensure a better engagement for the readers Working on the coloring process after receiving approval on sketches to deliver a delightful reading experience. Adhere to our vision and quality standards to ensure unified and appropriate illustrations. Qualifications & Work ExperienceProven experience as an illustrator, with a focus on children's literature. Excellent command of the English language. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. Strong digital drawing skills. A portfolio showcasing an outstanding body of work that demonstrates relevant illustration experience. Behavioural CompetenciesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
