Responsibilities

As a Part-time Chat Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate and timely responses to meet customer needs
  • Providing detailed information about products and services via online chat, ensuring that customers have a seamless and engaging experience
  • Narrowing down on appointment information to schedule appointments, ensuring that customers receive the best possible service
  • Developing and maintaining a knowledge base of the ever-evolving products and services, staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments
  • Capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review, ensuring that our dealer clients receive high-quality leads
  • Summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review, providing valuable insights and feedback to improve our services
  • Collaborating with our team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals, driving revenue growth and improving customer loyalty

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry, although not necessary, is preferred
  • The ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
  • Basic internet and window-based computer skills, with a strong ability to multitask and adapt to change
  • A positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a quick turnaround time for customer inquiries
  • Gaming experience is preferred, but not necessary

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be able to attend 4 weeks of training, Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 10:00am-6:30pm CST
  • Be able to work 5-hour time blocks daily after completing training
  • Meet the typing speed requirement of at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
  • Possess a positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment
  • Have gaming experience, although not necessary
