  • Proven experience working in a telemetry unit.
  • Strong understanding of cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring systems.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication abilities.
  • The ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor patients on telemetry units, promptly identifying and reporting arrhythmias or changes in cardiac status.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and accurately document findings.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding cardiac conditions, treatments, and telemetry monitoring processes.
  • Uphold strict infection control protocols and safety standards at all times.
