Coordinator, Product Development

The Coordinator of Product Development will support the product development process, manage sample activities, and collaborate with international teams to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support product development activities including the following: review of prototypes and samples, milestone adherence, sending of development packages to overseas partners
  • Partner with Materials teams to procure sampling materials for all development milestones
  • Execute, maintain and update necessary data and tools
  • Manage day-to-day communication and activities with the Asia PD team
  • Supports approval process and resolution of pending items to ensure smooth process from development to commercialization
  • Execute day-to-day activities based on priorities set by Manager and drives task completion and issue resolution
  • Demonstrate understanding of development process, implications when deadlines are missed, and alert manager of potential issues
  • Organize and maintain sample arrival and archiving
  • Support in research and development

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft 360, ECV or other PLM systems
  • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in product development, including the categories of handbags and SLGs; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Strong sense of teamwork and ability to multi-task
  • Flexibility to adapt as the business requires and to perform efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
  • Experience working in a global company with overseas partners
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications particularly Excel, TEAMS, illustrator
