BIM Coordinator

They are seeking a proactive and motivated BIM Coordinator to manage and coordinate BIM data for infrastructure, rail, and transportation projects, ensuring compliance with standards and optimizing processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the integration of discipline-specific models into the project's federated model
• Identify conflicts or inconsistencies in federated models and communicate them to design teams for resolution
• Prepare and update coordination files, ensuring compliance with project standards
• Organize BIM coordination reviews and document technical issues to follow up on
• Verify the consistency of federated models with BEP requirements and project standards
• Collaborate with discipline teams to improve modeling and coordination practices
• Contribute to documenting coordination processes in the project's collaborative tools
• Participate in implementing the BEP in line with coordination objectives
• Stay up to date on BIM tools and methods and propose technical improvements

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, or BIM certification is an asset
• Minimum 1 to 5 years in BIM coordination on infrastructure, rail, or construction projects
• Understanding of major BIM software (modeling and coordination platforms)
• Understanding integrating federated models and clash detection
• Ability to understand and implement Information Management processes and procedures
• English required (spoken and written)
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Attention to detail, rigor, and strong organizational skills
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proactivity and initiative
