INVESTMENT REPORTING ANALYST - IRVINE - HYBRID
Pathway Capital Management is a leading private market fund-solutions provider, seeking an investment reporting analyst to join its Monitoring and Reporting team. This role will focus on portfolio monitoring activities, collaborating closely with various internal groups, and generating client reports.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing financial statements of private equity partnerships, including a review of partnership portfolio company valuations and cash flows
- Preparing client reports and presentations
- Assisting with special reporting and research projects on an ad-hoc basis
- Updating and maintaining performance reporting on a quarterly basis
- Working with the Investment Teams, Marketing, and Client Services on analyzing the performance of Pathway’s portfolios and assisting with RFPs
- Researching and resolving data integrity exceptions across internal systems and reports
- Working on improving the efficiency of the monitoring and reporting process and developing additional reporting capabilities
Skills
- 0-2 years of analytical experience in investment management, fund accounting, operations, audit, consulting, or other similar fields
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, business economics, or a related field with a record of high academic achievement
- A strong interest in investments and the capital markets
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to fit into the firm's culture, which places significant value on teamwork, integrity, strong work ethic, and exceptional client service
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite products
