• Partner with Sales to balance customer experience with disciplined credit practices

• Lead the credit component of customer onboarding, ensuring accurate, timely account setup

• Draft, negotiate, and manage promissory notes and structured payment agreements in partnership with Legal

• Monitor agreement performance, track obligations, and escalate issues proactively

• Guide collections strategy for escalated accounts and partner with AR on disputes and resolution paths

• Maintain aging reports, credit exposure summaries, and bad debt forecasts to inform decision-making

• Identify process improvements, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and build scalable credit practices

What Success Looks Like

• Credit decisions are timely, well-reasoned, and consistently documented

• Risk exposure is proactively managed with minimal surprises

• Promissory notes and payment agreements are clear, effective, and actively monitored

• Credit processes are efficient, compliant, and scalable

• Stakeholders experience credit as a collaborative, solutions-oriented partner

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• 7+ years of experience in credit, collections, or financial risk management

• Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to assess and make sound credit decisions

• Experience managing structured agreements (e.g., promissory notes, payment plans)

• Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, AR, and Legal

• High judgment, attention to detail, and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred

• NACM certification (CBA, CBF) and/or relevant industry experience a plus
