Summary

The Senior Training Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day execution of delivering live and virtual training, managing and updated training materials, and general project management participation specific to Community Health Choices. This position will collaborate with Enterprise Learning Governance and other teams within the learning community to develop live and virtual training for internal/external customers, primarily focused on systems, and new hire and ongoing service coordination related education. The Senior Training Specialist will partner with LMS Technologist to ensure all required training programs have the required program set-up to track, monitor and report outcomes. During virtual training, the trainer may function as the facilitator and/or “producer” by monitoring chats, breakout groups and conducting polls. The Senior Training Specialist will be responsible for continuously modifying and creating new curriculum to maximize learning and partner with instructional designers, as needed, to update and create training content specific to Community Health Choices. Collaborates as a training workstream lead on CHC specific training projects Additionally, this role will: Apply well developed knowledge and experience in Learning Theory (ADDIE model, etc.), prepare reports/training class summaries, create participant guides, facilitator guides (lesson plans), and supporting materials, build learning methods and media to support the attainment of learning objectives, develop visuals, text, and audio in instructional materials and conduct a training needs assessment that aligns performance needs with organizational results.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • Three or more years experience in training delivery, facilitation, and classroom management

Other Job-Related Skills

  • Apply well developed knowledge and experience in Learning Theory. (ADDIE model, etc.).

  • Complexities include the day-to-day execution of delivering training, managing training materials, updating training materials and general project management participation.

  • Key cross-functional interactions will include members of the Talent Development team (50%), Instructional Designers (25%).

  • Typically partners with supervisors, managers and directors.

  •  Demonstrate knowledge of training platforms, i.e., Articulate.

  • Be familiar with Blended learning strategies.

  • Demonstrate effective communication/engagement with individuals and groups.

  • Demonstrate assessment of knowledge transfer live/virtual.

  • Demonstrated training skills with expertise in training delivery, essential systems knowledge, training material management and LMS capabilities.

  • Introductory knowledge of project management principles/methodologies and application of adult learning theory or principles.

  • Experience in using MS Office

Work Arrangement

  • Remote, possible onsite training in PA.
  • Must be a PA or NJ resident to qualify.
  • Some travel may be required (20%)
