Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2026-06-24

Location:

Guardian Corporate

We are looking for a dynamic, experienced Insurance Coordinator to join our fast-growing dental partnership network’s (“DPN”) Revenue Cycle team.

At Guardian Dentistry Partners, we support a network of 168+ thriving practices across 11.5 states. As one of the Fastest Growing Dental Groups (No. 384 on the 2024 Inc.5000), we’re proud of the culture we’ve built—rooted in integrity, collaboration, and purpose—where we help our practices flourish while delivering exceptional care to their communities. While we bring together passionate, purpose-driven dental entrepreneurs who share core values, we celebrate the unique differences among our partners that strengthen us and allow us to make a lasting impact.

As we transition to Denticon, our standard Practice Management System (PMS), we are seeking a skilled Insurance Coordinator to support our insurance operations and ensure seamless integration and adoption across all practices. The Insurance Coordinator will be responsible for setting up and managing the insurance master and fee schedules across multiple dental practices using Denticon. This role plays a critical part in optimizing revenue cycle performance, reducing claim denials, and enhancing patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up insurance for each new office and maintain insurance master files & fee schedules for existing practices and prevent duplicates.
  • Oversee insurance plans being added as offices migrate to Denticon.
  • Assist offices with go-live preparations and ensure month 1 patients scheduled have insurance attached.
  • Oversee and coordinate the submission, tracking, and follow-up of dental insurance claims within Denticon.
  • Understand the insurance eligibility and benefits process using Denticon’s verification tools and third-party portals.
  • Work closely with office staff to ensure accurate documentation and coding for insurance claims.
  • Monitor claim status, identify denials or discrepancies, and take corrective actions to ensure timely reimbursement.
  • Assist in the Denticon PMS implementation by providing insurance-related insights and participating in training sessions.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of insurance policies, coverage limitations, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with the billing team to resolve outstanding claims and accounts receivable issues.
  • Educate practice staff on insurance protocols and Denticon functionalities to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Generate reports on insurance claims performance and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Our Ideal Candidate Comes With:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in dental insurance coordination, preferably within a multi-practice DSO environment.
  • Proficiency in Denticon or other cloud-based dental PMS platforms is REQUIRED
  • In-depth knowledge of dental insurance processes, including PPOs, HMOs, Medicaid, and fee-for-service plans.
  • Familiarity with CDT codes, EOB analysis, and insurance industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Extra Points If You Have:

  • Experience with Denticon system implementations and training.
  • Certified Dental Coder (CDC) or equivalent certification.
  • Prior experience working with insurance payers and appeals management.

What’s Waiting For You:

  • Competitive health, dental, vision, long-term and short-term disability, and life insurance plans
  • Salary Range of $40 - $55 K
  • Participation in a 401k plan with a company match
  • Remote workforce model
  • The opportunity to engage in a values-based organization where all 2000+ (and growing) team members strive to exemplify our core values every day
