**Important note: There are regular morning/evening deployments outside of business hours as well as on-call rotations.

Essential Functions:

  • Identify, manage, and optimize our current AWS infrastructure with a focus on Security, Resiliency, and Observability

  • Assist the Development team in automation/performance optimizations and adherence to best practices

  • Contribute to the roadmap for assigned services and capabilities, providing guidance and expertise when designing solutions for business needs

  • Participate in R&D for process improvement and release speed

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our vendors and service providers

  • Leverage APIs to script and automate various IT operations

  • Support the evaluation and implementation of new services to address the needs of our team members and clients

  • Collaborate with the AI Team to support ML workload infrastructure, including model deployment pipelines, compute resource management, and environment reproducibility

  • Support compliance requirements in accordance with applicable frameworks (SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA)

  • Quickly identify, communicate, diagnose, and resolve technical issues

  • Build and maintain detailed and accurate documentation for our processes and workflows

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools including: Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Kubernetes, Containers (Docker/Podman), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/OpenTofu/Ansible), git workflows (GitLab/GitHub), CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab Pipelines), Shell scripting (Bash), and Database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis)

  • Solid understanding of Information Security, IAM, LDAP, APIs, and Networking

  • Strong knowledge and proficiency with Linux OS

  • Familiarity with MLOps concepts and tooling (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, or similar) and experience supporting ML pipeline infrastructure

  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Proven track record of proactively identifying and solving problems

  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving, dynamic environment

  • Self-starter with the ability to effectively problem solve, prioritize, and execute tasks with minimal direction

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant Information Technology discipline, or equivalent years of directly related experience

  • 4 or more years of overall IT experience, with 2 or more years of DevOps in a cloud-native environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator Associate) — obtained or actively in progress

  • Other accomplishments, awards, or projects that showcase skills & abilities
