Financial BI Analyst (Tableau)

Gypsy Collective is looking for a Financial BI Analyst to build and maintain financial dashboards in Tableau. We are looking for a proactive and responsible analyst who can work independently, ensure data accuracy, and design clear and user-friendly dashboards. Responsibilities:

  • Build financial dashboards in Tableau (Revenue, Plan vs Actual, Cash Flow, Unit Economics)
  • Design clear and user-friendly dashboards for business and finance teams
  • Work with financial data (revenue, costs, marketing spend, margins, KPIs)
  • Integrate data from Xero and other sources into Tableau
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency in dashboards
  • Analyze financial metrics and identify trends or issues
  • Communicate insights and explain data to stakeholders
  • Take ownership of dashboards and manage tasks independently
  • Continuously improve dashboards and reporting

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Data Analytics / BI / Financial Analytics
  • Experience building dashboards in Tableau
  • Experience working with financial data (revenue, expenses, margins, KPIs)
  • Strong Tableau skills (dashboard design, data modeling)
  • Advanced SQL
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • Understanding of data visualization best practices
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and communicate with stakeholders
