Firmware Developer (FPGA, VHDL, Verilog/System Verilog)

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop FPGA designs from concept to production using System Verilog/Verilog.

Optimize existing FPGA designs for performance, power, and efficiency.

Participate in reviews of FPGA code and architectures to ensure quality and functionality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software developers, and system architects to define and execute project deliverables.

Develop and maintain documentation related to FPGA design and development processes.

Conduct hardware debugging and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of System Verilog/Verilog.

Understanding the testing methodology using System Verilog/Verilog.

Experience with FPGA development tools and vendors, such as Altera/Intel or Microsemi.

Experience with simulation tools - ModelSim (QuestaSim).

Knowledge of processor architectures - Nios and/or RISC-V.

Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ for embedded systems.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Strong communication in English skills and ability to convey technical concepts to cross-functional teams.

VDHL knowledge of the Verilog/Verilog System
